Peace Begins Within: MindYoga for a Polarized World
Beginning Mind Yoga Practices
With Brad Laughlin
Sunday October 26, 2025
12pm – 1pm
Temple Buddhist Center, 707 West 47th Street, Kansas City, MO
In these times of extraordinary change, where fear and separation are increasingly amplified, MindYoga's “unification of opposites” practices encourage love and connection—offering simple yet powerful tools that are needed more than ever.
Join us for an introduction to these life-changing practices with hands-on guidance. At his in-person event we’ll show three of our five new MindYoga animated videos. These succinct, engaging, three-minute animations encapsulate the essence of the primary transformational practices from The Marriage of Spirit—Enlightened Living in Today’s World by Leslie Temple-Thurston and Brad Laughlin:
Witnessing: Cultivate awareness and presence in every moment
Polarities: Balance opposing forces within and without
Two advanced MindYoga practices (Triangles and Squares) will be offered at the Monday Intensive
This introductory gathering is an opportunity to learn, connect with a community of seekers, explore pathways to integrate these transformative practices into everyday life and deepen your journey towards enlightened living.
Video Screening: See MindYoga's animated videos, designed to bring clarity and insight into the practices
Practice Session: Engage in guided exercises where you’ll embody these teachings, gaining personal experience and understanding
Interactive Q&A: Participate in a dynamic session where your questions are addressed, enriching your practice and understanding
